Application and Course Fees

All payments are payable in US Dollars or Equivalent Kenya Shillings. The course fee for 2-weeks is US$1,480 and US$950 for one week per participant. This will cover tuition, stationery and field trip. Netwas shall offer sponsorship of Course Fee for one participant for every for every five participants from the same Organization or Sponsor.

Accommodation on Full Board Basis

Full board accommodation is available at the venue of the course at an additional cost of US$780 for two weeks and US$380 for one week (OR equivalent Kenya Shillings). Although it is advisable for participants to stay at the selected training venue, payment for accommodation is optional, and therefore participants are at liberty to make their alternative arrangements. Day participants will be charged at a rate of US$ 25 per day for meals and conference services.

Medical and Liability Insurance

Participants are advised to secure adequate medical and travel liability insurance cover.

Corporate and Onsite Training Programme and Study Tours

Recognizing the need for flexibility and adopting to client requirements, Netwas
offers customized courses, which are tailor made to suit the customers’ requirement, in terms of content, training venue, and dates. The Customized Training program offers an excellent opportunity to build synergy and team work in and among the client staff. We also organize Study Tours in the area of sustainable Water, Hygiene and Sanitation for groups.

Course Methodology

The facilitation methodology of choice is the participatory learning and action (PLA) techniques. The sessions are dynamic and include short introductory presentations by participants, discussions, group work, case studies and practical exercise. Participants also make guided exposure field visits to relevant projects for practical field experience. Netwas Documentation Center that has a variety of current and relevant publications, access to the internet and a conducive reading environment will be used extensively. NETWAS International staff together with their associates, with extensive field experience and facilitation will guide the participants throughout the courses. Relevant publications will be provided to each participant as well as a compact disk (CD), or flash disk/memory stick containing all presentations in soft.

Language

All courses will be conducted in English.

Duration and Timing

These are full time residential course. Sessions commence at 8.30 a.m. and end at
5.00 p.m. A certificate will be awarded to those who successfully complete the course.

Application Procedures

Participants and or Authorized representatives can Apply Now online. Applications should reach Netwas International at least one-week before the course commencement date. Final selection and confirmation are normally made upon receipt of payment. Participants are therefore advised to pay at least one (1) week before the commencement date of the course to allow time to communicate the joining instructions. The number of participants is limited to a maximum of twenty (20) per course.
